TRAUMA HEALING THROUGH POETRY WORKSHOP
Healing is hard, and the journey can often be a lonely one. I have taken my own experiences with trauma, social work, and writing and have created the kind of safe space I wish I had had to process alongside others who are also on their healing journey.
In this workshop, we will explore writing as a way of healing from trauma and processing pain. There will be a dedicated writing time with themed prompts as well as a sharing time for those who would like to share what they wrote.
You don’t need to be an author, a poet, or even what you may consider a “good” writer, to join this workshop. You simply need to be a human who is curious about utilizing writing as a way of healing – another tool, to add to your toolbox, if you will.
Testimonial from a participant: "Victoria's workshop was wonderful! I really appreciated her vulnerability, as it helped me to open up. The information she shared was relevant and allowed me to get to know more about her and what trauma is and looks like. I loved the prompts and left with a poem I like. I recommend going to her workshops!"
I hold this workshop virtually periodically and announce on my Instagram page (@writetoreconnect) when I have one scheduled. If you'd like to book me for your group (virtual or in person, depending on my availability and your needs), please reach out using the contact form or DM for more details.
